Intuitive “Nudges”

Intuitive “Nudges”

Have you received any “IN’s” today?

Have you ever had someone send you an “IM” and not noticed it right away because you were busy; until you finally saw it flashing down on your task bar?

If only our “IN’s” would keep flashing on our task bar. How easy it would be to notice and act on them if they would just sit there flashing so obvious and patient. Unfortunately, that is not how intuition usually comes. Yes it will keep flashing, but not with a pretty graphic, instead with a subtle, wisp of a nudge, a flash of a thought, that is gone in a second but if not noticed will pop up again and again trying to get our attention. I had an experience like this yesterday that happened to catch me in a quiet listening moment.

It was in the evening as I was working my way through the Self Improvement Gift 5 giveaway that was ending the next morning. I had not had the time I had hoped earlier in the month to look through all the wonderful downloads available so I was trying to look through as many as I could before  I had to retire for the evening. Well needless to say I ran out of time. So as I sat looking at the number links of all the pages I had not yet seen, I thought I should just pick one last page (“IN” intuitive nudge). My eye caught page 88 (“IN” intuitive nudge). Eighty-eight is NOT one of my favorite numbers. In fact it is not even close to a number I would normally pick, but I went with the nudge and clicked on that page.

Much to my excitement one of the first gifts was an e-book titled Shhh, The Answers Are Inside by Jayc G. Ryder. I had never heard of this author before but the title grabbed my interest immediately. So I downloaded his e-book, along with a few other items from that page, logged off and went to bed.

Which brings me to tonight and this newsletter. I continued to receive IN’s but tonight I was sort of “busy” and missed the first couple. You see, I decided to go through and confirm all the email lists I had signed up for the night before, ignoring the first impulse I had which was to pick one of the e-books to read.  Well, sometimes the universe really wants your attention and if you don’t listen the intuitive nudges get a little stronger.

Now I am sort of a techie, gadget girl, and am very handy on the computer, but despite that I ended up accidentally Deleting most of the confirmation emails I had received that had been caught by my spam filter!  I couldn’t believe it; but that did get my attention. So I went to my downloads and started scanning through everything that I had saved until I came to this same e-book from page 88 the night before.  Sure enough, it was exactly what I needed to receive, read, and learn. It was one of those times when it felt like the author had written it specifically for me. Anyway, I got so excited about the sequence of events that I had to share it with you.

Moral of my email, check your “task bar” for flashing “IN’s”. They may guide you to exactly what you need to receive at that moment.  🙂And if you get excited and revved up about these instances like I do, leave a comment and share them. I would love to read any that you would like to share.
