An interesting thing happened this week… my husband (who is an artist) commented that he was noticing that many of his “heroes” in the art world were suddenly shifting directions. They gave themselves permission to pivot in business.
There was one in particular, who is an amazing abstract painter. Then suddenly, he switched direction and started painting… realism! Talk about a complete 180-degree pivot!
I smiled… we are in retrograde after all. (January 2022) I shared that with Jeff (my husband), and then it made more sense to him. Even he was feeling the urge to experiment with his painting. 🙂
The question that came to mind for me was…
How often do we feel the need to shift or pivot in our business (or life)
and we just don’t give ourselves permission!
Why is don’t we give ourselves permission to change? Why is that?
- Fear?
- Comfort?
- Someone told us not to?
What if that nudge to pivot in busines was really coming from your intuition, your soul, from God/Source, from your Angels?!!
That would be silly to ignore, wouldn’t it?
Yet we do it ALL THE TIME! (Me included.) If the universe only handed out Neon Signs, that would be so much easier, ha, ha. However, life doesn’t work that way.
What we forget (in my opinion)… is that you are here to “DO YOU”
and I am here to “DO ME”.
And to do that our businesses have to fit us like our favorite pair of jeans.
- Comfortable, for the life we life.
- Strong to handle the work we have to do.
- Affordable, so we can feel at ease.
- The style that makes us feel Good: skinny, boot leg, straight leg, bell-bottoms (remember those, ha, ha.)
All business models work!
BUT… not all business models “FIT” every “body”!
So if your business isn’t fitting you the way you want… maybe you need to try on a “different pair of jeans”.
Give yourself permission to pivot in business!
This got me thinking about what it takes to find the “Perfect Fit” and I had an idea.
So I am going to test this idea with …
A simple, premium content, mini-membership (aka, The Perfect Fit Club) that would be delivered by email to keep it SUPER simple (no membership site to log in to, no Facebook group to navigate).
I am thinking it will include:
- a weekly email newsletter that dives into the idea of Finding the Perfect Fit in you business and all the pieces that go into that. ie: business models, mindset, personality, living situations, family situations, financial needs, technology needs, tools and resources, manifesting, meditations, intuitive guidance, and some over my shoulder looks at what I am doing now to in my own business.
- a monthly zoom masterclass on the topics or theme of the month, or live case-studies, etc. with the replay delivered to you by email. (Keeping it simple)

Since this is a little experiment I am doing…
